TheTubeScape - Reloaded (Getting the word out)

Why am I trying so hard? Because I made a promise. I promised everyone, when people asked, that this channel would never close or give up. I was going to, but I want to keep my promise no matter what until people WANT it to die. That's all I can do. Time may have been wasted, but all for your benefit. Thank you all anyway for a good year - especially the start.

Coming soon. A new era and phase for TheTubeScape has come, a revised system. Phase Two will be with us shortly, so say goodbye to the current and older version of TheTubeScape.

Since a certain other channel or few have seemed to get a headstart on their extremely similar project, I have closed down the current TheTubeScape, and I have further plans to keep this channel new and original and completely different. Until someone else takes that idea. It will use a brand new system, and will be a big change to how TheTubeScape is now. Since it’s not a website upgrade, but more of a TheTubeScape in general update, I’m calling this Phase Two.

It will use a completely different system and will be a lot easier to submit videos and they will be shown immediately. To prevent people from having to check these videos on the page, I will upload a selection of the videos submitted (per week/month, and possibly the year.) so that people can watch those and check on any other recent videos.

This may take a few months to develop and create, however it will all be worth it. In the meantime, I may use a similar system on the website, if possible – or if it doesn’t work with YouTube. The current system was all well and good for a year, however it now needs some spicing up. I apologise for the extended downtime but it will be all worth it. I also hope to introduce the community into some way or another, or something to that extent.

The current version of TheTubeScape will fully close down shortly (date unsure as of now), however there will be one massive final spotlight, and a Contributor’s Spotlight to the competition. Since the new phase will not use the channel as prominently, the channel shall be used for other purposes (more of a ’source’ of everything) and as such, the playlists, previous spotlights, etc. will still be there for all to enjoy. Competitions etc. will still be coming, so don’t fret.

TheTubeScape will be reopening as Phase Two very soon, and may receive a website counterpart. A new look, design, may be coming, and everything may change.

Now, for this to be successful, we're going to have a hand at mass advertising somehow... I want to also think of an original idea to get the word out. I had an idea in mind - people would tell X amount of friends and when shown proof, they would be featured/boxed somewhere. This would be a pre-made message that people could use. I might also create an advertisement competition of some sort, and I'd appreciate it if you'd tell your friends, or tell other people who would get the word out (i.e. people with bigger fan-bases). Please reply with any of your ideas, they all help.

I will go on with the project, I am aware of other channels and this is one of the reasons I am changing the system to make it original and like no other. Otherwise, why else would people use it?
